This Week in Figure Skating, May 23-29, 2011

This week’s lesson: always make sure your microphone is turned on.  I spent half an hour trying to record, continually getting derailed by the names of the Russian pair commonly known as I&M(spelling their names gives me a headache too, but I didn’t have to for this vid), and then nearly melted down over the word “congelado,” only to discover I’d wasted my time because it hadn’t recorded and I had to do the whole thing over.  Though at least I got off relatively easy with SBSi this week; they didn’t even block me in Korea!(Though they did in Japan.  Also Malaysia, which is sad because this may be the only video I make that mentions their skaters for a long while).

This Week in Figure Skating, May 16-22, 2011

Had to upload this twice while learning the hard way I won’t be able to include clips from Olympic performances.  That could make covering the games in Sochi  a pain.  Still blocked in Japan and Korea.  I continue to live with it.
