November 5-11+12, 2012

Covers today’s events as well because Sectionals was continuing into today, and because I won’t be doing one next week, what with being off the continent most of the week.  At least now that I’ve gotten the cat out of my suitcase:

October 7, 2012  Yeah, it’s over twenty minutes.  It was ten when I finished editing, really chopping the final segment down I might add, and I decided being around twenty minutes long was allowed, even if it was technically over, especially on weeks like this, and when I spent the entire extra nine seconds explaining how I’m stopping because we’re going on too long.  Am I glad tomorrow’s a federal holiday.  I need the rest!

This was actually my first day at my new job, so I did most of this on Sunday. Which will make recording what actually happens on Sundays harder, though at least it’s Japanese Nationals next week, where the time zones work to my advantage.

Last week I actually made a video, and TF1 claimed copyright on some clip in it, where since I deliberately wasn’t using French TV footage it was impossible to tell which, and blocked it worldwide. When some educated guesses failed to root the culprit out I decided there really wasn’t much news to report on last week anyway. I was anxious all through this week for fear they’d do it again, but fortunately they’ve left this one alone. Even if SBSi blocked it in both Korea and Japan again. At some point in the future I suspect I will be driven to switch to using a webcam of myself, but I need to figure out how to fix my voice first…
