I’m amazed I finished with this one. Starting Friday because Saturday I did pretty much nothing but watch skating, getting depressed enough about the men’s results I didn’t want to report about it, and briefing freaking out when the computer wouldn’t recognize I had the microphone plugged in until I had pulled it in and out several times. October 7, 2012 Yeah, it’s over twenty minutes. It was ten when I finished editing, really chopping the final segment down I might add, and I decided being around twenty minutes long was allowed, even if it was technically over, especially on weeks like this, and when I spent the entire extra nine seconds explaining how I’m stopping because we’re going on too long. Am I glad tomorrow’s a federal holiday. I need the rest!
At one point I thought this might be the first of the new audio posts to be delayed until Monday, though it instead proved the first one I had to cut down, since while I’m allowing myself to be more flexible about length, I still want to keep them to under twenty minutes. All this while trying to record and edit around the International Classic, and when as a result, I couldn’t finish scripting until after 9 tonight, after I’d mostly edited together everything that came after my opening accounts of the senior competitions!
