36 Sila SAYGI TUR

30 contenders for 6 spots, and Korpi, provided she makes it there(if she does, I assume Turkkila will be pulled), is certain to take one of them. Elene Gedevanishvili in theory should too if she skates half-decently; her recent track record there is concerning but nonetheless let’s pencil her in. For four more spots that leaves:

Sonia LaFuente: Would’ve qualified at Worlds with a better free, and that she didn’t was quite the disappointment; qualified at Nebelhorn four years ago
Brooklee Han: Just missed at Worlds, amid debate as to whether final qualifier Jenna McCorkell was held up over her
Kerstin Frank: Poor Frank, two quadrenniums in a row she’s made the free at the pre-Olympic Worlds then failed to get a spot out of that, but at least this time around she wasn’t passed within her own country before Nebelhorn
Isadora Williams: Just missed making the free at Worlds
Anita Madsen: Only a fraction behind Williams in the short, and has a higher PB than her
Alina Fjodorova: Has a higher PB than either of the above two
Fleur Maxwell: Qualified in 2006, but that was a very long time ago
Kaat van Deale: Beat a number of the above plus two ladies who qualified for Olympics at Worlds at Europeans

LaFuente looks pretty good, and from the others, I’ll predict Han, Madsen, & Frank.
